Perry County Chamber Meeting Notes

On February 20th, I had an opportunity to speak at a crowded Perry County Chamber of Commerce Luncheon at Champs Pizza and Pub in Thornport. I shared some of the current work of the Board of Commissioners.

Our Perry County JFS Opportunity Center was reopened the same day, after the gas leak issue ha been resolved. USEPS Brownfield Grants obtained by the Commissioners continue to be used to clean up areas. Most recently the lead paint and asbestos were mitigated in the old Jail and old Sheriff’s Office. As well as some slow progress on a fiber expansion project throughout the County.

You can read coverage of the meeting at the Perry County Tribune.
