We had a packed house at the Coffee with Some Commissioners breakfast on February 27th at Dodson’s On Broadway in New Lexington.

Over 45 attendees came to meet and hear Cheryl Boley, our Director of Perry County Job & Family Services and the Perry County Transit program. Cheryl and several of her upper management staff shared highlights and successes.

In 2023, Perry County Transit was recognized nationally as the top Rural Transit system in the Country! PC transit has a mission committed to providing safe, dependable, and courteous transportation to all of Perry County.

Whether it’s one of their several “zero loops” or booking a ride to and from work, the grocery or medical appointments, for any transportation reason at all, PC transit can get you there. Visit the Perry County Transit website or contact transit at (740) 342-2810 to learn more about how to schedule a ride, existing schedules and fares.

I took several trips around the county using the system during Transit Week and was so impressed with how easy, fun and friendly the service is. I hope you’ll give it a try and share this great resource with friends and family around Perry County.
